Hardware assisted image reconstruction for interactive ray tracing

Ray tracing is a flexible rendering algorithm but it requires expensive computations. We present a simple caching system to accelerate ray tracing with assistance of the graphics card. Moreover we combine caching with a simple but efficient adaptive sampling algorithm, which reduces the amount of required pixel request per frame by one to two magnitudes.
